It was a great opportunity for students to be able to present some of their artwork in a public space beyond the school's walls. The videos created specifically for this event are also available to view on this page (one video is coming soon!)
Students made a trip out to the college to see the space prior to the show's opening and help make some curatorial decisions; truly making a full circle of an artist's practice: the beginnings of an idea, making of work, documentation and finally, presentation.
As a special gift, students worked on beautiful block printed posters for each artist who visited and inspired them. Student presented them to artists at the opening. Principals of the school were also presented with their own posters later on.
Students turned their classroom into a mini print shop while block printing 15 over-sized posters meant to be given as thank you gifts for everyone involved in the project.
